Vastu Tips for Entrance Door

As per Vastushastra, the Main Door should be located at the East, North or North-East, or West zone. If the door is located at the East-South-East, South, South-South-West, South-West, West-North-West zone then it is considered very inauspicious.
No matter in which direction the Main Door is located, for Divine protection and in order to energize the Entrance, it is suggested to install either of the following: Lord Ganesha ji Picture, Panchmukhi Hanumanji Picture, Swastik Symbol, Om Symbol, Ek Onkar Symbol, Jai Mata Di symbol, Om Namah Shivay Symbol, Navkar Symbol, above the entrance door frame (from inside and outside).
If your Main Door is on the South-West or West of South-West zone, then Ideally install Brass Panchmukhi Hanumanji Statue or Panchmukhi Hanumanji Picture (acrylic) above the main door frame.
It is believed that Maa Mahalaxmi ji enters the property which are looking welcoming and attractive. Hence, ensure that your main door is nice, clean, well polished and vibrant. You may also install a decorative ‘toran or bhandanwar’.
The main door hinges should be well oiled / lubricated so that it does not make a noise / creaking sound because the unpleasant sound disturbs the positive energy flow.
Install a light outside the main door and keep it switched on especially during the evening hours. Additionally you may light a Diya. This would help to dispel / remove the negativity and evil forces.
Ideally, the main door should open inwards in a clockwise direction (ie open inwards towards the left side) to allow the frictionless flow of energy into the property.
Presence of a tree or pole or sharp cornered object / structure in front of the shop / office / home or pointing towards the Main Door causes a ‘Dwaar Vedh’ / ‘Vedh Shoola’ which is inauspicious. It creates problems and disturbances in life & business.
There should not be a Gas Hob Burner of Kitchen directly in front of the Main Door because it would burn away the opportunities and energy coming into your property.
There should not be a Toilet, Dustbin, Garbage, Drainage directly in front of the Main Door because the positive energies would get flushed / drained away.
Ideally, we suggest to install Power Grid Stick above the Main Door Frame inorder to create a powerful energy field (grid) within the property and minimizes the negative vibes.
Copper Power Grid Stick above the Main Door which is in South-South-East, South-East, South zone.
Aluminum Power Grid Stick above the Main Door which is in North, North-East, North-North-East and North-North-West zone.
Brass Power Grid Stick above the Main Door which is in South-West, West-South-West, South-South-West zone.
Stainless Steel Power Grid Stick above the Main Door which is in East, East-North-East, East-South-East zone.
